Show synopsis:
Space and time lose their boundaries, and everything seems to be in full flow in Twelfth Night. Against a background of continuous partying, Shakespeare's most beautiful comedy aims to laugh at love, mocking all its facets. In a continuous game between what is and what seems to be, we invite you to get lost together in a mirage of quiproquos, pranks and travesties in the realm of comedy.
Viola and Sebastian, two fraternal twins are separated by a cruel shipwreck. Arriving in Illyria, Viola is forced to disguise herself as a boy, taking the name of Cezario, in order to serve at Duke Orsino's court. Entering his service, Viola falls in love with the duke, who in turn falls in love with Countess Olivia.
Viola, disguised as Cesario, is sent to marry Olivia for the duke, but things take an unexpected turn, as the haughty countess falls hopelessly in love with her. Here, then, is the frothy scheme on which Shakespeare builds his comic situations. Identities mix until they are lost, hearts are simply and perhaps shaken from the foundation and the conclusion is only one: Love is blind, and the one who holds his hand and helps him walk is categorically, Madness.
